The first craft beer festival was held in Đakovo city
Considering the numerous craft breweries operating with a lot of success throughout Croatia due to the recognized quality of their products, the Đakovo Craft Beer Festival was held for the first time, a festival of domestic beer in the heart of Slavonia.
Đakovo Craft Beer Festival was held on September 18th and 19th, 2020 in Strossmayer Park. The organizer of the festival is the City of Đakovo and the Tourist Board of the City of Đakovo with Black Hat craft brewery Đakovo as co-organizers.
Ten craft breweries with more than twenty types of beer were presented at the Festival. Two breweries came to us from Central Croatia: Nova runda (Zabok) i Primarius (ZG), seven breweries from Slavonia: Stric (NA), Mali div (OS), Legionar (OS), Walkow (VU), Valens (VK), Popster (SB), Bošnjak (NG) and the local Black Hat Brewery (DJ). American Joy took care of the good food.
In the beautiful Strossmayer Park near of the Cathedral of St. Peter with good music provided by DJ Učo, Cotyda Band, DJ Umbo and a pleasant atmosphere, the most picky beer lovers enjoyed a diverse offer of beer styles at affordable prices.
With more than 500 visitors in two days, the festival justifies the name of the first real Slavonian craft festival in 2020.
